GENERAL INFOAll meets begin at 6:00 PM, with a team check in at 5:15 PM. At 5:15, please have your swimmer(s) find our coaches to check in. After checking in, all swimmers should check our heat sheets (coaches will let swimmers know where they will be posted) to find out what they will be swimming that night. When checking, be sure to support your swimmer(s) in knowing their event numbers and the stroke/ distance that they will be swimming. Once the meet begins and swimmers are marshalled for their events, swimmers will become aware of their heat and lane.
*It may be helpful to bring a pen/ Sharpie and write your swimmers events on the back of their hand!
Our 9-18 year old swimmers should be ready for warm ups by 5:30. Come prepared with caps, googles, shoes, and towels! All 8 and under swimmers will not warm up prior to swimming their events. PARENT VOLUNTEERSOur meets are only successful due to the help of parent volunteers! We ask that each family sign up for at least two "jobs" throughout the duration of the season. To sign up, please sign up at the table during practices. All jobs are no experience necessary and will provide you with a front row seat to watching your swimmer(s) race! For questions, email Heather H. at h_devaney@hotmail.com We are looking for a few parents to be on our concessions committee. It would consist of developing a menu, pricing, donations, and organizing a small concession stand for our home meets. Our outgoing concession-expert would be able to offer guidance, share past practices, etc. We have a space designated already that the school custodians set up for us. If you're able to help in any way, please contact Jen V. at djsjmvvance@icloud.com SWIMMERS MISSING A MEET? SIGN THEM OUTIf your swimmer(s) will be unable to participate in a meet, there is a form to "sign out" of any given meet at the table during practices. Please be sure to fill that information in no later than 2 days (excluding weekends) prior to the date of the meet. Please list your swimmer's first and last name, as well as their age.
