- A special thanks to all of our families. As we’ve mentioned, we get to host Champs every 10 years or so, and you guys KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! We ran such a fun and efficient meet (2 hours, 10 mins for am session, 55 mins for the pm)! With 114 heats, there were 516 splashes by the attending 232 swimmers- and a lot of exciting races and fast swims! This only happened because of all the volunteering, donations, and blood, sweat, and tears. Thank you!
- Next up, time to celebrate a successful season. Be sure to come out and join us at Crandon Lake tomorrow from 2:00-6:00 (see past email for details).

- Tuesday 7/25- What a nice evening for an outdoor swim meet! Newton is our biggest challenge this season, and we almost pulled it off (despite being down 13 swimmers), falling to the Sharks by only 7 points! - There were some great swims at this season’s WVSC Championships on Saturday, hosted by Cliffwood Lake. Of our 96 swimmers, 50% of them qualified (48 to be exact, but 10 couldn’t make it unfortunately). We came in a close 2nd Place, narrowly behind Sussex County Y. Wed 7/21 (Swim-A-Long Update)- Hi everyone, Every year the WVSC selects a worthy recipient and swimmers from around the league swim to raise money for that worthy cause. That date was originally slated for 7/14, but we had a very busy week already (with makeup meets, etc.), so we will be running our event on Tuesday, 7/27 during morning practices. The itinerary is as follows:
- 8:30-9:15 (13 & Overs)- Waterpolo!
- 9:30- 10:15 (9-12s)- Wacky-Relays!
- 10:30-11:00 (8 & Unders)- Wacky-Relays!
- We are asking for a $5.00-$10.00 per swimmer donation (cash or check made out to Kittatinny Barracudas- we will provide one team check to the league). This year’s recipient is Benny’s Bodega.
- Its going to be a blast! Hope to see you there!
