KBST BOARD NOMINATIONS
- 2025 SEASON NOMINATE HERE
- President
- • Applying for building use at Kittatinny Regional High School by contacting the school Board Office no later than January 15th.
- • Creates agendas for and presides over all meetings,
- • Appoints committee heads as needed.
- • Represents the team at league meetings.
- • Coordinates solicitation and hiring of coach(s) with the Board of Directors.
- • Responsible for recruitment of team members; coordinating publicity and registration and making up a membership packet which shall include a registration form and other pertinent information.
- • A background check for any and all coaches who are not public school teachers will be performed by the President.
- • Knowledgeable of Robert's Rules of Order.
- Vice-President (Odd years)
- • Presides over meetings in the absence of the president.
- • Coordinates any fundraising activities along with the treasurer.
- • Shall be responsible for coordinating the parent work schedule for swim meets and confirming scheduled workers attendance; invitationals, and league Championships.
- • Attend practices on a rotating basis along with the officers of the Board, and liaisons.
- Secretary (Even years)
- • Records the minutes of all meetings and distributes to Board Members in a timely fashion.
- • Maintains all email correspondence.
- • Maintains social media visibility.
- • Collects and distributes mail from PO Box.
- • Responsible for setting up team pictures.
- • Planning and preparation of the post season annual picnic including ribbons and awards (see Article VII).
- • Attend practices on a rotating basis along with the officers of the Board, and liaisons.
- Treasurer (Odd years)
- • Responsible for all funds and securities acquired by the team; coordinating the collection of any team fees; maintains checking, savings, credit card accounts.
- • Presents a written statement or ‘Treasurer’s Report’ at Preseason and End-of-Season meetings.
- • Receives budgets from committees and submits them to the Board of Directors for approval, as needed.
- • Turns over all funds to the newly elected treasurer after an audit by the Board of Directors.
- • Responsible for overseeing all fund raising activities.
- • Responsible for purchasing ribbons and awards.
- • Writes out checks for coaches’ remuneration, reimbursements, and scholarship monies as needed.
- • Responsible for coordinating the purchasing and stocking the concession stand for all home meets with the Concessions Coordinator.
- • Must have financial approval of the Board of Directors for large purchases (See Article V).
- • Completes all necessary IRS transactions.
- • Pays annual fees including but not limited to annual insurance fees, PO Box rental, etc.
- • Attend practices on a rotating basis along with the officers of the Board, and liaisons.
- Concessions Coordinator (Even years)
- • Organizing goods and supplies for the concession stand at our home meets and for the End-Of- Season Picnic, and coordinating with the Treasurer on their purchase and/or collection of donations for.
- • Coordinate with the Vice President on scheduling parent volunteers to work the concession stand at our home meets and for the End-Of- Season Picnic, if needed.
- • Communicate with the Board regarding needs.
